At Stockport Village Nursery we follow the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum guidance which covers the below 6 key areas of child development. This is a framework put together by the DCSF (Department for Children, Schools & Families) & covers ages from 0-5 years old. We always strive to ensure our nursery sets itself extremely high standards to ensure we act as a benchmark to other nurseries in the Greater Manchester area.

All children from 0-5 are allocated a key worker that will encourage, support and develop the individual child’s skills and tend to their needs. Children are observed and assessed and have their own personal progress portfolio.
